Twelve questions, answered plainly.

If something here is still unclear, write to contact@monitorgeo.com and a person answers.

What does the free Scan actually do? +

It reads your home page, works out what you sell and where, writes 5 questions a customer would ask, puts them to an AI engine, and stores the answers word for word. Then it counts: whether you were named, who was named instead, and which sources the engine cited.

Which engine does the Scan query? +

ChatGPT, through its programming interface. The paid plans query more: see the pricing page for which engines each one covers.

Do I need an account? +

No. A website address and a work email, nothing else. You get a private link to your result and the same thing by email. The link stays live for 90 days.

Why do the answers change when I ask the same question myself? +

Because that is how these engines work. The same question asked twice can come back worded differently, and sometimes with different names. Which is exactly why every answer here is dated, attributed to a named engine, and stored as produced. You are reading one measurement taken at one moment, not a permanent score.

It also means a single Scan is a starting point. The trend is what tells you something, and a trend needs more than one reading.

Is this SEO? +

No, and the difference matters. SEO is about a page appearing in a list of links. This is about a name appearing in a written answer where there is no list to scroll. The work overlaps: an engine that cites nobody about you will not invent you. But a good Google ranking does not guarantee you get named, and we have seen the reverse too.

Where do the questions come from? +

From templates, filled in with the trade and the area MonitorGEO read off your site. They are deliberately generic: questions someone types when they do not know you yet. Asking an engine about your brand by name tells you very little, because the brand is already in the question.

What if my home page does not say what I do? +

Then MonitorGEO stops and tells you. It does not guess a trade, and it does not run questions it made up. A page that says nothing concrete about your business is also a finding in itself: the engines read the same page.

What do you do with my email address? +

We send you your Scan. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and it is not passed to a third party. The full detail, including how to have it deleted, is in the legal notice.

Can I have my data deleted? +

Yes. Write to contact@monitorgeo.com and we delete your Scan, your address and the stored answers. No form, no retention argument.

What does the GEO Report add that the Scan does not have? +

Scale and reading. 30 questions instead of 5, the native engines rather than one, the competitors who keep winning the answer, the sources they are cited from, and what to change. €149, once. It is credited against your first month if you subscribe within 30 days.

How do the subscriptions work? +

They re-run the measurement on a schedule and keep the history, so you can see whether anything moved. Veille is monthly, Pro is weekly and adds the sources behind each answer. Prices and limits are on the pricing page.

Online payment is not open on this site yet. Run the Scan, or write to us, and we set it up directly.

Agence SW, an independent European digital agency, Google Partner since 2014. More than ten years spent getting companies found. The analysis is signed by people you can call, and the company details are in the legal notice.
